1. Purpose

This Fraud Detection and Prevention Policy (“Policy”) outlines the measures adopted by MyAbabil (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) to detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive activities on the platform accessible at https://myababil.com/ (the “Platform”).

  • Behavioral risk scoring

  • Anti-bot and anti-automation systems

  • Payment fraud screening tools

Users acknowledge and consent to such monitoring as a condition of using the Platform.

4. Identity Verification

Ababil may require identity verification at any time, including but not limited to:

  • Email verification

  • SMS/phone verification

  • Government-issued identification

  • Proof of address

  • Biometric verification (where legally permitted)

  • Enhanced due diligence for high-risk accounts

Failure or refusal to provide requested verification may result in restricted access, suspension, or termination of the account.

5. Suspicious Activity

The following may be considered suspicious activity:

  • Multiple failed login attempts

  • Access from high-risk jurisdictions

  • Inconsistent billing or identity information

  • Rapid account changes

  • Repeated chargeback requests

  • Attempts to bypass platform safeguards

The Company reserves sole discretion in determining what constitutes suspicious activity.

6. Investigation and Enforcement

If fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected, Ababil may take one or more of the following actions without prior notice:

  • Temporarily freeze or restrict account acces

  • Block or reverse transactions

  • Request additional verification

  • Withhold funds pending investigation

  • Cancel transactions

  • Permanently suspend or terminate the account

  • Report the matter to financial institutions or law enforcement authorities

The Company is not liable for any losses arising from temporary restrictions imposed for security purposes.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Users agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes.

Where a chargeback is filed:

  • The account may be temporarily restricted

  • The user may be required to provide supporting documentation

  • Repeated or abusive chargebacks may result in permanent suspension

Ababil reserves the right to recover associated administrative and dispute fees where legally permitted.

8. Cooperation with Authorities

Ababil may disclose information, including personal data, transaction records, and device information, to:

  • Law enforcement agencies

  • Regulatory bodies

  • Payment processors

  • Financial institutions

Such disclosure will be made in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

9. Data Retention

Fraud-related records may be retained for a period necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations

  • Resolve disputes

  • Prevent future fraud

  • Enforce agreements

Retention periods will comply with applicable data protection laws.

10. No Obligation to Guarantee Prevention

While Ababil implements industry-standard fraud prevention measures, the Company does not guarantee that fraudulent activities will never occur. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

11. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Maintain secure login credentials

  • Notify Ababil immediately of suspected unauthorized access

  • Refrain from engaging in fraudulent conduct

Failure to comply constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service.
